According to them, on Thursday, Dec. 25, the electricity was out in grocery stores and homes of Tesktylshchyk neighborhood of the Kirov district of Donetsk.
"The power was cut off at 9:00 a.m. and came back on at 1:00 p.m. It is impossible to get through to the utilities since their phones have been switched off for not paying the bills," a Donetsk resident notes.
According to the locals, on Wednesday, Dec. 24, the power was out for several hours in the Kalinin and Kyiv districts.
"The so called "DPR authorities" did not warn us about the rolling blackouts," the people say.
Earlier, Censor.NET reported that rolling blackouts started due to the fact that the coal produced in the occupied territory of the Donbas is not supplied to the Ukrainian thermal power plants.
