Ban on flights to Zaporizhia airport extended until Dec. 25 – State Aviation Administration

The State Aviation Administration of Ukraine extended the ban on flights to the airport in Zaporizhia.

The ban on flights to the airport in Zaporizhia valid until Dec. 23 was extended for another two days - until the morning of Thursday, Dec. 25, Censor.NET reports citing UNIAN.

"The reason for the ban is the same - to ensure the safety of passengers," the head of the Ukrainian State Aviation Administration said.

As previously reported, State Aviation Administration has cancelled all flights to Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk, and Zaporizhia for safety reasons Dec. 13. The airports in Dnipropetrovsk and Kharkiv resumed working on Dec. 16. The ban for the flight to Zaporizhia airport was extended first to Dec. 20, and then until Dec. 23.
