Dzhemilev requests part of Kherson region for creation of Crimea autonomous republic

The MP Mustafa Dzhemilev offered to allot a part of the Kherson region for the purpose of creation of Autonomous Republic of Crimea on the territory.

The leader of the Crimean Tatars announced this prior to the conference on Tatars' issues, Censor.NET reports citing lb.ua.

"I am talking about some parts of Kherson region adjoined to Crimea to be officially connected to the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, in order to create infrastructure of an autonomous republic there. This is a very difficult task, for this is a constitutional norm. Whether there is such a necessity is a controversial issue, but I believe it should be done, and the president thinks so too," he said.
