Terrorists fled in panic after failed attack on Donetsk airport defenders

Pro-Russian militants shelled Ukrainian troops with small arms and rocket-propelled grenades six times during the day.

"On Sunday, pro-Russian militants shelled a meteorological tower and the new terminal of the Donetsk airport with small arms and rocket-propelled grenades. Snipers were also operating there. The bandits tried to attack our heroes once, but were forced to flee in panic as a result," the press center writes.

Pro-Russian terrorists were attacking Ukrainian soldiers with small arms, grenade launchers, mortars, and rocket systems during the day.

In particular, the militants fired from Infantry Fighting Vehicles (IFV) at the Army positions near Slovianoserbsk village.

The ATO forces' positions near Krymske and Frunze villages, as well as the town of Debaltseve have been shelled with mortars since 9 a.m.
