Poroshenko: the year 2015 will be hard for Ukraine

President Poroshenko predicts the year 2015 to be difficult from the economic situation point of view, but believes that there will be improvement in this sphere starting from 2016.

He said this during the Police Day celebrations in Kyiv on Friday, Censor.NET reports citing Interfax-Ukraine.

"Unfortunately, I cannot promise the land flowing with milk and honey. The next year will be extremely hard for the country. The war has heavily impacted the economy," the president said.

According to Poroshenko, only coping with all the risks and threats, the restoration of peace, the return of Ukrainian flag and the Ukrainian authorities into the occupied territory could become a guarantee that "we will be able to provide the country's economic growth from 2016 as well as the planned gradual increase in social standards, the level of social security, including for the police officers."
