"We are calculating the budget now... We have two options: either the current rate, which is now set by the National Bank or the additional assumption of 17," he said.

Yatseniuk said that the Cabinet expects the National Bank's forecast on the hryvnia exchange rate for next year, since in accordance with the Constitution, the National Bank is responsible for the currency.

He stressed that the current difficulties with the ruble in Russia will have a negative effect on the Ukrainian economy. In addition, he said that the final version of the state budget has not yet been developed and the draft project indicators are changing every day.

Yatseniuk also said that the government is currently in negotiations with the coalition in the Verkhovna Rada in order to get support in passing the state budget-2015 and amendments to the Budget and Tax Codes.
