Tymchuk also reported that newly organized companies of 'Cossack army' were deployed near Nikishyne and Chornukhyne at the Debaltseve area. "The mercenaries of these gangs wear new winter uniform of the Russian type and are well equipped and armed. They have up to 20 units of armored vehicles with them," Tymchuk reported.
At Stanytsia Luhanska, the separatists attempted to take up positions in 'the buffer strip,' but were met with firing from small arms of the Ukrainian army and went back to initial positions, Tymchuk reported.
Another fighting was near Novoazovsk, according to Tymchuk. "Ukrainian guerillas attacked a communications node of the Russian troops. The enemy incurred losses. This attack made the Russian terrorist troops worry for they did not expect guerilla acts at this area," he wrote.
Tymchuk also notes that 'LPR' counterintelligence warns of possible 'hunger strikes' by the local people. The situation is worsened by 'opaque' distribution of the 'humanitarian aid' from Russia, he wrote.
