"All those criminals engaged in embezzling of the state budget must be judged. These assets are comparable to an IMF loan," Oleksandr Turchynov said, Censor.NET reports citing the press service of the faction.
Turchynov recalled that the previous parliament passed the law allowing courts to make decisions and "sentence criminals in their absence if they are hiding from the Ukrainian justice."
"When the courts will stop taking bribes and start sentencing criminals, we would be able to provide additional revenue part of our budget," he said, stressing that this will also concern those who support the DPR and LPR terrorist organizations, those who promote separatism.
"These people should also be sentenced including to confiscation of property, accounts and not only in Ukraine, but also abroad," he said, noting that it would be "an immense resource that will ensure the implementation of common programs."
