 More Than 1,250 Soldiers Killed During ATO – Poroshenko

About 1,250 Ukrainian soldiers were killed since the beginning of the ATO in Eastern Ukraine.

This was stated by President Poroshenko during the ceremony of weapons and military equipment transfer to Ukrainian soldiers, at a military airfield in the town of Chuhuiv, Censor.NET reports citing the President's press-center.

The President congratulated the soldiers with the Day of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and thanked them for their ultimate courage in defending Ukrainian territories. Poroshenko stressed that soldiers are fighting for the whole Ukraine in the Donetsk and Luhansk regions.

President Poroshenko added that more than 1,250 soldiers (952 of them were from the Army) were killed during the ATO.
