According to a report two citizens of Ukraine born in 1961 and in 1975 were detained on one of the back roads between the towns heading their vehicle towards Artemivsk. The driver and passenger, both local residents, were trying to escape during the arrest.
"The Security Service officers seized an arsenal of weapons from the car: two assault rifles and loaded cases for them, grenade launchers, about 20 grenades of various modifications, a large number of rounds for assault rifles and machine-guns. A ready to use explosive device to which a grenade was attached to enhance damage, was found in the trunk in a separate cache amidst the weapons. The experts say that such devices are used by the terrorists to blow up buildings and military equipment due to their immense destructive power. It was established that the militants were instructed to carry out sabotage and terrorist acts in Artemivsk," the message reads.
It is also noted that the weapons were seized. Investigative actions continue.
In addition, SBU task force detained the militant with the call sign Buk in the neighboring district, who led the reconnaissance of the Ukrainian soldiers' locations. The intelligencer passed obtained information to the terrorists. Being in a combat zone, Buk adjusted the terrorists' shelling of the Ukrainian positions.
The SBU detained another militant near Kramatorsk - an active member of the so-called DPR.
The 27-year-old detained thug admitted that he voluntarily joined the 'Tiger' illegal armed group. He participated in the battles against the ATO forces under the command of the gang leader, nicknamed Leshyi (the goblin).
