 Parliament Votes for Appointment of Foreign Minister Klimkin

The Verkhovna Rada voted for the appointment of Pavlo Klimkin to the post of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.

This is reported by Censor.NET correspondent.

The appointment of Klimkin was voted for by 351 MPs.

According to the Constitution of Ukraine, the President proposes the candidacies of the Minister of Defense and the Minister of Foreign Affairs for the approval by the Verkhovna Rada.

Poroshenko, who is present at the session, positively noted the work of Klimkin as the Minister of Foreign Affairs and expressed the belief that this trend will continue in the future.
