Ukrainian Foreign Minister to NATO: Since Beginning of "Hybrid Truce," Over 400 Ukrainian Soldiers Killed in Donbas

Since the beginning of the 'truce' on Sept. 5, more than 400 Ukrainian servicemen were killed in eastern Ukraine.

This was stated by Ukrainian Ambassador to NATO Ihor Dolhov, Censor.NET reports citing Ukrainska Pravda.

According to the diplomat, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Pavlo Klimkin talked about the situation on Tuesday, addressing the gathering of colleagues from NATO member countries in Brussels.

"In describing the situation, the minister applied very correct definition: earlier we discussed the "hybrid war", and now we have "hybrid truce." Since Sept. 5 armistice, there were many incidents, we have lost more than 400 soldiers," Dolhov said.

Thus he commented on today's announcement that Kyiv and the militants agreed to a truce on the outskirts of the Donetsk airport.

Dolhov said that Ukraine's readiness to implement the truce agreement reached in Minsk, however, is not matched with the same by the opposite side.
