A cease-fire along the line of contact between the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the terrorists, as well as withdrawal of heavy weapons was agreed during the negotiations, effective Dec. 5.

The OSCE Special Monitoring Mission in Ukraine report reads that on Nov. 29 in Luhansk, the observers were present at a meeting of the head of the Ukrainian contingent to the Joint Centre for Control and Co-ordination (JCCC), Lt Gen Askarov; the head of the Russian Representation in south-east Ukraine, Lt Gen Lentsov; and members of the "LPR", Censor.NET informs citing Liga.

All agreed to total cease-fire along the entire contact line between Ukrainian Armed Forces and those under control of the "LPR", effective Dec. 5. They also agreed that the withdrawal of heavy weapons would start on Dec. 6.

"Members of the "LPR" insisted that they were in control of all Cossack units and that these units, too, would adhere to this proposal," the observers wrote.
