туск

The European Union and the United States are working on new sanctions against Russia.

This was discussed in a telephone conversation of Head of the European Council Donald Tusk with U.S. President Barack Obama, Censor.NET reports citing Ukrinform.

"We shared our concerns about the crisis in Ukraine and agreed that it is important for Russia to withdraw from eastern Ukraine, to stop the supply of troops and equipment, to ensure effective management of the border, and allow the OSCE to fulfill its mission. All hostages must be released. The European Union and the United States continue to work closely together, including the sanctions, as well as on the financial support of Ukraine. We have agreed to unite and maintain a steady path," Tusk said.
