 Arbuzovgate: Ex-Prime Minister Did Not Withdraw Money From Account. All Funds Arrested – Prosecutor General

Prosecutor General's Office calls unjust the decision of the Kyiv Pechersk district court, which ruled to lift the arrest of the bank accounts of the former Acting Prime Minister, ex-chairman of the National Bank Serhii Arbuzov.

This was stated at a briefing of First Deputy Chief of Investigation Department of the PGO Sviatoslav Lahaniak, Censor.NET reports citing Ukrainian News.

"Unfortunately, due to the unjust decision of the judge, the arrest was withdrawn from the accounts," Lahaniak said.

According to him, the money was not withdrawn from the account after the court decision and is currently under arrest.

He did not rule out that attempts to lift the arrest of Arbuzov's bank accounts will be repeated.

The Prosecutor General's Office announced second arrest of accounts of Arbuzov and his wife.
