United States Officials Accused Ukraine of Criminal Negligence of its Interests Lobbying in Congress - Semenchenko

The U.S. Congress believes that the Ukrainian diplomats are not actively lobbying the interests of their country to provide military assistance.

Newly elected MP and Donbas battalion commander Semen Semenchenko told upon return from the Pentagon, Censor.NET reports citing Novoie Vremia.

"No one has ever been engaged in lobbying of our interests. There is quite a different attitude to the letters, you know. If our officials have read the letter, it is considered a document. But it will be thrown into the waste-basket in America, if there is no position background, if talks were not previously held," Semenchenko said.

He noted that the officials, whom he met at the Pentagon and in Congress, said that there is criminal negligence of our interests lobbying.
