At Donetsk direction the militants opened fire on the ATO positions in the airport twice using tanks and artillery. The separatists also used artillery, mortars, and small arms for numerous attacks on the ATO positions near Pisky, Avdiivka, Opytne, Tonenke, Shumy, and Maiorske. The militants also used Grad systems at Slavne village. The airport remains under the control of the Ukrainian servicemen. There are sufficient forces concentrated on the outskirts of the airport to provide support to the defenders of this strategic object if necessary.

In the area of Bakhmutivka road the terrorists used Grad rocket launchers to shell a stronghold near Krymske village three times. They also opened mortar fire at the positions of the Ukrainian military near Triokhizbenka village.

In all cases of enemy artillery or manpower activity the Ukrainian military opened return fire.

At the initiative of the Ukrainian side representatives of the OSCE monitoring mission held negotiations with the militants of the so-called "Great Don Army" led by Ataman Kozitsyn to create conditions for the restoration of gas and electricity supply to Triokhizbenka. On Sunday morning, Ukrainian repairmen began the work. However, the militants violated their promises and opened fire on the repair personnel using RPGs. The work had to be stopped to avoid endangering people. As a result of constant attacks of the terrorists, Triokhizbenka has been left without gas supply for three weeks and without electricity for over a month. In peacetime, the village had around two thousand residents.

The situation remains tense in the Luhansk direction, where the insurgents used mortars, rocket-propelled grenades, and small arms in a massive assault on the ATO forces near Stanytsia Luhanska. They also used artillery and mortars to shell Shchastia and Makarovo. The attacks near Stanytsia Luhanska have been recorded by the OSCE monitors.

The intensity of attacks in Mariupol direction has somewhat decreased. The insurgents opened mortar fire at the Ukrainian positions near the village of Talakivka.
