Russia Launched Agressive Campaign to Resettle Donbas Residents

Advisor to Defense Minister Oleksandr Danyliuk reported that the Rossotrudnichestvo agency has launched an aggressive campaign to resettle Donbas residents to Russia.

Danyliuk writes about it on his Facebook page, Censor.NET reports.

"In the Donbas, Rossotrudnichestvo Federal Agency has launched an agressive campaign for voluntary resettlement of local residents to the Russian Federation. The Russian government has previously approved new rules of compatriots' resettlement and decided to highlight the areas of priority settlement. The installation grant has been increased from 120 thousand rubles up to 240 thousand rubles for each applicant and up to 120 thousand rubles for each family member. The settlers will be most welcomed in the following regions of Russia: Republic of Buryatia; Zabaykalsky, Kamchatka, Primorsky, and Khabarovsk regions; the Amur, Irkutsk, Magadan, Sakhalin regions, and the Jewish Autonomous region," he wrote.

"As I have warned, Putin needed the war in the Donbas to address the demographic problems of the Russian Federation, and the population of the so-called Novorossiya was treated as a potential reinforcement for the population of the Starorossiya (the Old Russia)," the adviser summed up.
