 Military Vehicle Explodes in Mariupol. Two Soldiers Wounded

Today around 5:00 p.m. a powerful explosion occurred in Ilyichevck district of Mariupol.

This is stated by Mariupol website 0629 citing local residents, Censor.NET reports.

According to the ambulances were seen heading to the scene.

The headquarters of the territorial defense of the city stated that a military vehicle tripped a land mine.

"Details of the incident are being determined, casualties are being determined," the HQ noted.

Chief of Mariupol ATO HQ Dmytro Horbunov told the media that a convoy of vehicles was moving along the street and one truck exploded. The cause of the explosion is being determined. Two soldiers were injured in the incident.

They were taken to a city hospital with mild injuries.

According to medics, the wounded are 21 and 23 years old. One of them has a broken tibia, and the other - hand wound. Both servicemen are in the emergency hospital.
