This was announced by the journalist Inna Lysak on her Facebook page, Censor.NET reports.
"Today, the 500th of the 'cargo 500' ('cargo 500' refers to captives - ed.) was brought from Donetsk to Dnipropetrovsk. He didn't qualify for the exchange program (of prisoners - ed.), but was released for his grandfather, his late grandfather," Lysak wrote.
According to the journalist, the grandfather of Smyrnov was a tankman and Hero of the Soviet Union. His grandson is Yurii Smyrnov, 22 years old, from 55th artillery brigade.
"When he was held captive, the Soviet Union Hero's grandson Yurii was once brought to Zakharchenko himself (the leader of the 'DPR' terrorists - ed.). Zakharchenko was convincing the lieutenant to side the DPR for 40 minutes! But Yurii didn't want to, and he refused," she added.
