 Slovakia Will Provide Reverse Gas to Ukraine, Despite Smaller Supplies from Russia

In Bratislava, intensive negotiations between the Presidents of Slovakia and Ukraine on the gas issue are in progress. Slovakia has reaffirmed its commitment to ensuring reverse supplies of gas to Ukraine, despite the reduction of supplies from Russia.

Press secretary of the president of Ukraine Sviatoslav Tseholko writes this on his Facebook page, Censor.NET reports.

"Ukraine wants to create a gas hub to prevent the gas issue being a means of political pressure.The meeting of the Visegrad Four is approaching. Poroshenko will also meet the Presidents of Poland and Germany. The Slovak side has assured that it will continue reverse supplies of gas to Ukraine, despite the reduction of supplies from Russia. Europe must be united, because, as president Kiska said, Ukrainian soldiers are fighting not only for Ukraine, but also for the whole Europe and its values," Tsegolko said.
