Putin, Faced Strong Rebukes from Western Leaders, Plans to Leave G20 Earlier.

Russian President Vladimir Putin might skip a G-20 working session on Sunday and leave the summit in Brisbane before it's official ending.

The Russian official told Reuters about this possibility, Censor.NET informs, referring to Ukrinform.

Putin plans to leave G20 early after Western leaders blasted Moscow on Saturday for the crisis in Ukraine and threatened more sanctions. U.S. President Obama said Russian aggression against Ukraine was a threat to the world and Canadian Prime Minister told Putin that he needs "to get out of Ukraine".

Putin's isolation at the G20 summit was also evident with his placing on the outer edge for the formal leaders photograph. While Obama and Chinese Premier Xi Jinping were met by Australia's governor general and attorney general when they arrived in Brisbane, Putin was met by the assistant defense minister.
