 Medvedev Admitted that Russia Is Unable to Replace European Goods

The Russian Federation response to the Western sanctions has both positive and negative consequences for the Russian economy while Russia yet failed to completely replace imports, Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev said.

He stated to journalists, Censor.NET reports citing RIA Novosti.

"These retaliatory measures also have certain implications. Not all of them are probably positive because we cannot immediately replace the entire segment, which proved to be removed as a result of the known solutions of the state. But there is a positive side: our people are actually getting used to the fact that a significant part of food products consists of domestic ones," Medvedev said.
