International reserves of the Russian Federation decreased by $25.65 billion (5.6%) down to $428.59 billion during October 2014.

Prime informs citing the Bank of Russia, Censor.NET reports.

Russia's international reserves, which are highly liquid foreign assets held by the Bank of Russia and the Russian government, consist of funds in foreign currency, special drawing rights (SDRs), reserve position in the IMF, and monetary gold.
