 Russia Launches New Propaganda Project for Information Warfare Abroad

Russian state news agency Russia Today founded a website called Sputnik.

Censor.NET reports citing Medusa.

The web portal was presented as "the major international news brand with modern multimedia centers in dozens of countries around the world."

The website of the newly created media may be found at sputniknews.com. The site is available in three versions: International, British, and American.

Sputnik has significant broadcasting facilities besides the website. Sputnik will broadcast in 30 languages in 130 cities worldwide starting from January 2015.

The project will be headed by Dmitry Kiselev who is known for the distortion of information and propaganda.
