Kremlin Clarified its Position Concerning Terrorists’ Pseudo Elections: "We Respect Them but Do Not Recognize"

Moscow's position on pseudo elections in the DPR and LPR was expressed by the word ‘respect’ voiced by the Russian Foreign Ministry, but it does not mean ‘recognize’.

Putin aide Yury Ushakov announced, Censor.NET reports citing UNIAN.

"The official position of Russia is expressed in a short, but summed-up statement of the Foreign Ministry on the results of the pseudo elections. They used the word 'respect'," Ushakov said.
