Paratroopers Tripped Land Mine near Sokilnyky. Seven Injured - Selezniov


Seven paratroopers tripped a land mine and received injuries as a result during the search and destroy operation in the vicinity of Sokilnyky village in the Luhansk region.

ATO press-center speaker Vladyslav Selezniov reports, Censor.NET informs citing Liga.

He also said that the insurgents twice shelled the ATO forces positions near the village of Krymske last night using MLRS Grad. In addition, mortar shelling of this area was repeatedly registered. The ATO force conducted targeted artillery strikes on the militants' firing positions in response.

The checkpoints and strongholds of the Ukrainian troops were attacked near Maiorsk, Debaltseve, and Popasna. The Ukrainian Army detachment was also assaulted in the southern part of the ATO area near Talakivka village.

"The situation in the Donetsk airport remains tense. The strategic facility is still under the control of the Ukrainian Army.
