Putin Might Come to Kyiv on Tanks - The Question Is How He Gets Out and How Long He Lasts - Butusov

Russia's political and economic weaknesses prevent Russia from big war in Ukraine.

This was stated by Yurii Butusov, Censor.NET Chief Editor, on Channel 5, UNIAN reports.

"The Russian Federation has a large arsenal of tools that could cause great damage to Ukraine. They are not only tactical ballistic missiles and bombers. So do not think that 'Iskander' is the ultimate weapon. Russia is prevented by its own political and economic weakness from a great war in Ukraine. That is, Putin is not ready to a large-scale war," the journalist said.

According to him, Russia will have to declare general mobilization for the full-scale invasion in Ukraine and long-term occupation of its territory.

"Let's take a look at the military aspect of the issue - they are fighting in Ukraine, they dragged in and mobilized combat-ready offices, that's maximum 70 - 80 thousand people. In order to pursue the occupation of large areas in Ukraine, they must call for a general mobilization. Can Putin do it now? At the moment, it is impossible for Russia," Butusov said.

The journalist stated that Putin's armory is limited.

"One can invade Kyiv with tanks, but here is the question - how do you get out of here and how long can you last with your tanks in Kyiv," he noted.
