French Authorities Do Not Allow to Supply Mistral to Russia

Government of France did not confirm its authorization to supply Mistral warship to Russian Federation.

It is reported that Emmanuel Gaudez, the representative of the Mistral manufacturing French company DCNS announced a few days ago that the company was still expecting required export licence from the French government, Censot.NET reports citing UNIAN.

"Due to this it is impossible to determine the date of transfer of the ship at the current stage," the representative of the company said.

It was reported earlier that Russia's deputy prime minister Dmitry Rogozin announced a day before that the first Mistral helicopter carrier would be handed over to Russia on Nov. 14. In this connection, the company "Rosoboronexport" was invited to France for the handover ceremony. In turn, the French government has not confirmed the information that France is ready to pass one of the two Mistral helicopter carriers to Russia.
