As reported by Censor.NET citing the latest update by the JFO headquarters press center as of Oct. 31, the Russian mercenaries fired upon the Ukrainian troops’ strongholds 24 times using weapons banned by the Minsk agreements in five of the attacks.
The Russian occupying troops employed grenade launchers of various systems, large-caliber machine guns and small arms against the government forces defending Novoselivka Druha, Avdiivka, Pisky, Novotroitske, Berezove, Novomykhailivka, Starohnativka, Pavlopil, Vodiane, Hnutove, Lebedynske and Shyrokyne. In addition, the enemy bombarded the Joint Forces’ stronghold in the vicinity of Nyzhnie village, the Luhansk section of the forefront, from 122-mm artillery late yesterday and barraged the defenders of Krymske with 120- and 82-mm mortar shells at about the same time.
It is noted that two mortar strikes were also committed by the invaders near Zolote village.
"Two Joint Forces fighters were wounded in action over the past day," the statement reads.
Intelligence sources indicate four invaders wounded on Oct. 31.
