As reported by Censor.NET citing the latest update by the JFO headquarters press center as of Oct. 11, combined Russian-separatist forces fired upon the Ukrainian troops 27 times using weapons prohibited by the Minsk agreements in 10 of the attacks.
Over the past 24-hour period, the Russian occupying troops employed grenade launchers, large-caliber machine guns and small arms against the defenders of Krymske, Novozvanivka, Troitske, Luhanske, Svitlodarsk, Krasnohorivka, Marinka, Chermalyk, Pavlopil, Hnutove, Vodiane, Lebedynske and Shyrokyne.
"The Joint Forces’ strongholds near Luhanske, Chermalyk and Lebedynske were bombarded with 120-mm mortar shells while the defenders of Luhanske Svitlodarsk and Hnutove came under strikes with 82-mm mortars. The invaders employed armament of infantry fighting vehicles against the defenders of Vodiane.
"The Joint Forces fighters sustained no casualties in yesterday’s attacks," the report reads.
Intelligence sources indicate two Russian mercenaries eliminated and six wounded over the past day.
"Today, Oct. 12, the enemy mounted three attacks on the Ukrainian troops’ strongholds near Marinka, Taramchuk and Hnutove using no heavy weapons. No Joint Forces fighter was killed or wounded today," the JFO HQ said.
