No one killed, three Ukrainian soldiers wounded in Donbas on Oct. 4 amid 20 attacks by Russian proxies, - JFO center

The situation in the Joint Forces Operation (JFO) area remained tense over the past 24 hours as the Russian-led forces continued barraging the government troops with heavy weapons.

As reported by Censor.NET citing the latest update by the JFO headquarters press center as of Oct. 4, combined Russian-separatist forces fired upon the Ukrainian troops’ strongholds 20 times occasionally using heavy weapons prohibited by the Minsk agreements.

The Russian-occupying troops fired upon the defenders of Krymske, Orikhove, Luhanske, Travneve, Shumy, Pivdenne, Krasnohorivka, Marinka, Pavlopil, Hnutove, Vodiane and Shyrokyne from 120-mm and 82-mm mortars, grenade launchers of various types, large-caliber machine guns and small arms.

"The invaders bombarded the Ukrainian troops’ stronghold in the vicinity of Luhanske with 120-mm mortar shells twice. The defenders of Krymske, Orikhove and Travneve came under 82-mm mortar strikes.

"Three Joint Forces fighters received combat injuries over the past 24-hour period," the report reads.

Intelligence sources indicate three invaders eliminated and three wounded yesterday.
