 Terrorist Attack on Election Day in Transcarpathian Ukraine Prevented - Ministry of Internal Affairs

Law enforcement officers prevented a terrorist attack in the Zakarpattia (Transcarpathian) region planned for the election day on Sunday, October 26.

Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Serhii Yarovyi reported about it, Censor.NET informs citing Interfax Ukraine.

"Yesterday the police detained a group which intended to conduct a terrorist attack during the election in the Zakarpattia region. Investigation is in progress. The results will soon be communicated to the public," he said at a press briefing on Sunday.
