As reported by Censor.NET citing the latest update by the JFO headquarters press center as of Sept. 12, the Russian invaders mounted 38 attacks on the Ukrainian troops’ strongholds using banned heavy weapons in three of them.
The Russian occupation troops employed grenade launchers of various systems, large-caliber machine guns and small arms against government forces deployed near Stanytsia Luhanska, Krymske, Novotoshkivske, Zolote, Svitlodarsk, Novoluhanske, Krasnohorivka, Berezove, Novotroitske, Starohnativka, Chermalyk, Pavlopil, Hnutove, Vodiane, Lebedynske and Shyrokyne.
"The enemy bombarded positions of the Ukrainian troops on the outskirts of Svitlodarsk, Chermalyk and Lebedynske with 82-mm mortars. The defenders of Krymske, Novotoshkivske and Lebedynske came under fire of the armament of infantry fighting vehicles.
"Two Ukrainian military were wounded in action over the past 24-hour period," the JFO HQ said.
Intelligence sources indicate one invader eliminated and five others wounded yesterday.
"Today, Sept. 13, the enemy fired upon the Ukrainian troops’ strongholds in the vicinity of Berezove, Starohnativka, Hnutove, Vodiane and Shyrokyne from grenade launchers of various systems, large-caliber machine guns and small arms seven times inflicting no casualties on the JFO servicemen," the situation report reads.
