As reported by Censor.NET citing the latest update by the JFO headquarters press center as of Sept. 5, the occupiers opened fire on the Ukrainian troops 31 times using no heavy weapons banned by the Minsk agreements.
It is noted that the Russian occupation forces mounted attacks using grenade launchers of various systems, large-caliber machine guns and small arms.
"Regardless of the ‘back-to-school’ truce, the enemy increases the number of attacks on a daily basis. The invaders fired upon our troops deployed on the outskirts of Syze, Stanytsia Luhanska, Krymske, Novotoshkivske, Zolote, Shumy, Novhorodske, Opytne, Pisky, Krasnohorivka, Marinka, Chermalyk, Pavlopil, Hnutove, Lebedynske, Vodiane and Shyrokyne.
"Moreover, the Russian occupation troops cynically fired the residential neighborhood of Krasnohorivka village with large-caliber machine guns which caused fire that damaged a household. The fire was jointly extinguished by Ukrainian servicemen and members of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine which are part of the Joint Forces.
"One Ukrainian soldier was killed and three others were wounded in action over the past day," the situation report reads.
Intelligence sources indicate two members of the Russian-occupation troops eliminated and five more wounded in response fire yesterday.
It is also reported that today, Sept. 6, the enemy committed four attacks on the Ukrainian troops’ strongholds: "At Donetsk section of the forefront, grenade launchers and small arms were employed against defenders of Marinka while large-caliber machine guns and small arms were used in the vicinity of Chermalyk and Vodiane villages in Mariupol direction inflicting no casualties among the Ukrainian troops."
