As reported by Censor.NET citing the latest update by the JFO headquarters press center as of Sept. 3, the invaders fired upon the Ukrainian troops 20 times using, however, no heavy weapons banned by the Minsk agreements.
"The Russian occupation forces committed deliberate attacks with grenade launchers, heavy machine guns and small arms. Our positions on the outskirts of Krymske, Myronivske, Zaitseve, Shumy, Opytne, Pisky, Pavlopil, Hnutove, Vodiane and Lebedynske came under the enemy fire.
"Despite the pre-agreed school-year armistice, the enemy considerably increased the number of attacks. Two Ukrainian servicemen were wounded in action over the past day," the situation report reads.
Intelligence sources indicate two members of the Russian-occupation forces eliminated and two more wounded in backfire yesterday.
It is also reported that the enemy has already mounted six attacks on the Ukrainian troops, today, Sept.4: positions in the vicinity of Krasnohorivka at Donetsk section of the forefront were fired upon with large-caliber machine guns and small arms while large-caliber machine guns were employed against the government forces deployed near Hnutove, Lebedynske and Shyrokyne villages at Mariupol section of the frontline.
"Our defenders have sustained no battle casualties since midnight today," the JFO HQ said.
