White House Recognizes Efficiency of the US and the EU Sanctions Against Russia

Washington admits that the sanctions imposed on the Russian Federation have a significant negative effect on the Russian economy proving that current policy is successful.

White House press secretary Josh Earnest declared, Censor.NET reports citing UNN.

"The economic forecasts show that the sanctions imposed by the United States in coordination with the European countries have made a significant economic impact on Russia," the White House spokesman said Wednesday at a press briefing.

At the same time, Earnest noted that the question of "whether it will have the desired effect on the change in the behavior of Russia" is still open. "We have still not seen any outcome that we wished to achieve," he said.
