Another Silence Regime in ATO Zone, Already Violated by Terrorists - Selezniov

Effective 10 a.m. Tuesday, another silence regime was established.

This was announced by the ATO press secretary Vladyslav Selezniov, Censor.NET reports citing Ukrainska Pravda.

"This morning, from 10 a.m., we have another silence regime. This was established due to the other party's request, and the headquarters were involved in the process," he said.

"The regime was discussed by a three-party group," Selezniov added.

Selezniov emphasized that the silence regime has been already violated by the separatists.

"We documented six shellfires since 10 a.m.", he said. "Shellings take place nearby Debaltsevo - at Nikishyne and Ridkodub, Mohyla Hostra. Self-propelled gun worked nearby Mykolaivka, and mortars and artillery - at Avdiyivka.

"The Donetsk airport has been shelled regularly since 10 a.m. from AA mounts. In between the bursts, the separatists shell our positions from mortars and small arms. The Ukrainian army fires back directly at positions from where they are being shoot at," Selezniov said.

He also believes that provocations on the part of Russian journalists are possible near Bakhmutka.

"TV crew from Russian First Channel arrived to the 32nd checkpoint near Bakhmutka. We are expecting provocations," Selezniov said.

Selezniov explained that Ukrainian journalists are not allowed further than the 31st checkpoint "in order to save people's lives".

"A crew from First Channel arrived from the separatists' side. As soon as First Channel and Russia-24 appear, provocations are possible," he said.
