 Lavrov Explains How Russian General Staff Will Help Militants with Demarcation Line

Officers of the General Staff of the Russian Defense Ministry to help coordinate the demarcation in the Donbas between militants and the security forces of Ukraine.

This was stated by Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov on Monday, Censor.NET reports citing Ukrinfrom.

"As President Putin said in Milan, there are faults on both sides, he explained how difficult it is to establish a boundary line. At the request of the Ukrainian leaders, we sent a group of the General Staff officers of the Russian Defense Ministry, who helped and are still willing to help the warring parties to agree on such a line of demarcation that will be respected," he said.

According to Lavrov, the Russian officers will also "help" harmonize the principles of removal of weapons during the demarcation as "different distance is provided for different caliber."
