 EU Ministers to Discuss Next Steps Regarding Russia - Ashton

Implementation of agreements on peaceful settlement of the conflict in Ukraine reached in Minsk should be fundamental point of the meeting of the EU Foreign Ministers on Oct. 20.

This was stated by EU High Representative for Foreign Policy, Catherine Ashton, Censor.NET reports with reference to Radio Liberty.

"We will consider the situation and will decide what to do next," Ashton said.

On Monday, Oct. 20 in Luxembourg, the EU foreign ministers will discuss the situation in Ukraine among other topical issues of international politics. The meeting of diplomats, in particular, will focus on the implementation of the Minsk agreements and monitoring compliance with the cease-fire in the Donbas. Among the possible topics of discussion there is strengthening of the OSCE mission which oversees the development of the situation.
