"No one has been detained," the police said adding that they received no reports that someone had rushed into the NABU office.
However, a source in the NABU told Ukrainska Pravda that unknown persons broke into the agency’s office and created unrest. "So-called ‘Donbas war veteran’ Vania Hrabar accompanied by a group of the so-called ‘protesters’ came here in the morning. They broke in, scattered the furniture while the police were just watching and doing nothing. They were taken out only when they started crushing everything inside," the source said.
According to the source, the detractors broke into the lobby through the door of the public reception office which is usually closed. "They broke it open and came in. There is a metal roll-up door separating the hall from the rest of the office. It was closed so they failed to get inside the office," the news agency quoted the source as saying.
