As reported by Censor.NET citing the latest update by the JFO headquarters press center as of July 16, the invaders fired upon the Ukrainian troops’ strongholds 19 times using weapons prohibited by Minsk agreements in one of the attacks.
"The Russian occupation forces carried out combat operations at certain sections of the frontline: the defenders of Krymske, Svitlodarsk, Avdiivka, Nevelske, Opytne, Marinka, Krasnohorivka, Vodiane, Hnutove, Lebedynske, and Shyrokyne came under the enemy fire. The invaders also fired three 82-mm mortar shells upon the defenders of Hnutove. By carrying out active combat operations, the enemy tried to invite retaliation of the JFO units.
"A Ukrainian soldier was wounded in action over the past 24 hours," the situation report reads.
Intelligence sources indicate two militants injured in backfire yesterday.
"The Russian occupation forces did not dare to open fire today," the JFO HQ added.
