As reported by Censor.NET citing the latest update by the JFO headquarters press center as of July 12, it was calm at Luhansk and Horlivka sections of the forefront. In Popasna and Svitlodarsk directions, the enemy employed large-caliber machine guns and small arms against defenders of Troitske and Novoluhanske villages.
At Donetsk section of the frontline, the enemy fired upon the JFO units deployed on the outskirts of Marinka, Berezove, Avdiivka and Opytne with large-caliber machine guns and small arms eight times.
The most intense hostilities were recorded in Mariupol direction: "Russian mercenaries attacked our defenders 14 times. The troops deployed near Vodiane, Pavlopil, Talakivka, Lebedynske and Pyshchevyk came under fire of grenade launchers, large-caliber machine guns and small arms. In addition, the enemy used 82 mm mortars banned by the Minsk agreements for the first time in six days. The invaders fired 14 mortar shells upon the defenders of Pavlopil and Vodiane."
"Unfortunately, three Ukrainian soldiers were injured in action," the situation report reads.
