Kremiln’s Spokesman Complains That No One Understands Putin in Milan: He Had to "Take a Pen And Draw Numbers for Merkel"

Russian President's press secretary Dmitry Peskov said that there is complete unwillingness to understand what is happening in the south-east of Ukraine on the part of some participants of Milan meeting.

According to Censor.NET citing Ukrainska Pravda, he told reporters: "We regret to note that some part of the participants demonstrated complete unwillingness to understand the real situation in the south-east of Ukraine," Peskov said.

"Following the ASEM summit the discussion on Ukrainian issues will continue in the "Normandy format." The conversation will be continued between Putin, Poroshenko Merkel and Hollande," Peskov said.

He also noted there has been no bilateral meeting between Putin and Poroshenko, but did not rule out its possibility.

At the same time, he stressed that during the day Putin will hold a series of bilateral meetings.

According to Peskov, the matter of sanctions against Russia was not raised at a working breakfast of the leaders.

At the same time, according to Peskov, the sides exchanged views on a wide range of the Minsk agreements implementation.

The press Secretary of the Russian President also said that at yesterday's meeting with Merkel Putin informed her in detail about the gas issues related to the situation in Ukraine.

"Yesterday Putin told Merkel everything about the gas business in detail. He literally took a pen and drew numbers on a paper, explaining," Peskov said.
