As reported by Censor.NET citing the latest update by the JFO headquarters press center as of July 6, 2018, the Russian occupation forces continued violating truce along the entire length of the contact line mainly using grenade launchers, heavy machine guns and small arms. The invaders also committed attacks with armament of the infantry fighting vehicles at certain sections of the frontline.
"No bombardments with heavy weapons banned by the Minsk accords were recorded over the past 24 hours," the statement reads.
At Luhansk section of the frontline, the terrorists employed grenade launchers, heavy machine guns and small arms against JFO units in the vicinity of Krymske village. The Russian mercenaries once again disrupted disengagement of forces and hardware near Stanytsia Luhanska village by opening fire with small arms.
In Svitlodarsk direction, the enemy fired upon the defenders of Svitlodarsk and Novoluhanske with automatic grenade launchers and large-caliber machine guns. A Ukrainian serviceman was wounded as a result.
At Horlivka and Donetsk sections of the frontline, the enemy employed grenade launchers, heavy machine guns and small arms against positions on the outskirts of Pivdenne and Avdiivka.
The enemy committed numerous provocations in Mariupol direction: the Russian mercenaries tried to invite retaliation of the defenders of Shyrokyne, Talakivka, and Vodiane by grenade launchers and small arms fire.
"The Russian occupation forces seem to be reluctant to observe the truce they themselves declared as they have already committed three attacks on our positions since midnight. They fired upon the JFO units’ strongholds near Troitske and Shyrokyne with small arms in Donetsk and Mariupol directions respectively," the situation report reads.
The JFO HQ said defenders of Ukraine sustained no casualties today, July 6. Intelligence sources indicate one Russian mercenary eliminated in backfire over the past day.
