 16 Russian Soldiers Captured in Donbas Handed Over to Parents - SBU

16 of the 131 servicemen of the Russian Federation Armed Forces, whose families turned to the Security Service of Ukraine by the hotline, have been already returned.

SBU Chairman's Adviser Markiyan Lubkivskyi wrote this on his Facebook page, Censor.NET reports.

"They were released according to the bilateral transfer of prisoners as a part of the President of Ukraine peace plan and to fulfill Minsk agreements," he said.

Lubkivskyi recalled that ten days ago SBU established a hotline for Russian citizens aimed to help find Russians missing in action in the Donbas as well as to identify the bodies of the deceased Russian soldiers.
