Four emplyees of the regional energy distribution company who were repairing damaged power lines were killed by the terrorist shellfire recently.

This was announced by the head of Luhansk regional state administration Hennadii Moskal, Censor.NET reports.

Power lines near Bakhmutka road were destroyed yesterday at 7:10 p.m. at the course of fighting between the Ukrainian Army and the 32nd separate Cossack division of the so-called Don Army under Dremov's command. "At the Shchastia heat power plant (28 km from the site of damage) emergency protection came into action, two power units were disabled, which resulted in all the Luhansk region, both controlled by the Ukrainian Army and the LNR, being left without electricity," governor Moskal said. "Mobile and internet connection was broken, power supply was stopped. Thanks to prompt actions of DTEK employees serving the Schastia power plant, the 2nd power unit was put back into operation after a few hours, and one line was switched to Severodonetsk, Lysychansk, and part of the Luhansk region. The other part of the region remains without electricity, the supply of which will be restored soon. We were surprised by the position of the National Energy Company "Ukrenergo" which ordered to restore power supply for the LNR-controlled territories first."
