"The subsistence rate for those who have lost their ability to work will be increased from July 1. About 1 million Ukrainians will have their pension payments increased," the press service of Deputy Prime Minister Pavlo Rozenko quoted the official as saying, Censor.NET reports.
Rozenko noted that the next increase in pension payments shall take place on Dec. 1, 2018, as stipulated by Ukraine’s state budget. "The level of the minimum pension will grow up to almost 1,500 hryvnia (about $56)," he said.
"But if the Pension Fund budget receives additional funds, we will try to implement pension plans earlier as we did last October," the official added.
