As reported by Censor.NET citing the latest update by the JFO headquarters press center as of June 5, intense fighting was underway at some sections of the frontline: "The situation remained tense on the outskirts of Prychepylivka, Krymske, and Novotoshkivske villages in Luhansk direction as well as near Opytne and Novotroitske villages at Donetsk section of the forefront where the Russian-occupation forces committed 11 strikes with 120- and 82-mm mortars banned by the Minsk agreements."
The invaders reportedly continued mounting attacks with small arms near Lebedynske and Shyrokyne villages in the vicinity of Mariupol.
"The enemy breached truce 31 times over the past day. The JFO units maintained active defense of their positions to keep the enemy from advancing towards our defense lines. Intelligence sources report two invaders killed and four wounded in retaliation fire," the statement reads.
The JFO press center also said that the occupiers stepped up airborne reconnaissance operations using drones: "Early on June 5, the JFO radio-radar element identified an airborne target which appeared to be a Russian-made Orlan-10 UAV. They did it early enough for the detachment of the anti-aircraft missile troops to be able to destroy the target on its way to the area the enemy sought to reconnoiter."
"Three our servicemen were injured in action and hospitalized over the past day," the report reads.
