As reported by Censor.NET citing the update by the JFO headquarters press center as of June 4, hostilities were underway in the vicinity of Krymske and Novotoshkivske villages at Luhansk section of the forefront; near Zaitseve village in Horlivka direction; on the outskirts of Avdiivka, Pisky, Krasnohorivka, Marinka and Novotroitske at Donetsk section of the contact line; and near Lebedynske village in Mariupol direction.
"The Russian-occupation troops fired upon our positions 30 times 10 of which were artillery and mortar strikes. The JFO units maintained active defense and responded adequately to the enemy attacks preventing the invaders from getting tactical superiority," the statement reads.
It is also worth noting that the Russian-backed militants kept launching attacks against civilian targets: "The invaders shelled the Donetsk filtering station around 9 p.m. on June 4. Its personnel was forced to hide in the bomb shelter and stayed on call at the facility for the second consecutive day. The information on the damage inflicted to the station is being gathered."
"Our defenders sustained no casualties in action yesterday and early today. Intelligence sources indicate two invaders killed and six injured in retaliation fire," the situation report says.
